1. Overview

HawkEye Print (package com.hawkeye.print) is a high-definition document printing utility that converts and renders PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and image files into PC-grade 600 / 1200 DPI anti-aliased print streams for network-connected printers over a local area network (LAN) or an optional user-initiated local relay gateway.

2. Document & On-Device Processing

• 100% On-Device Rendering: All document parsing (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, images), 600/1200 DPI 1-Bit anti-aliased binarization, exam shadow whitening, watermark cleanup, and raster compression occur locally on your Android device.
• Zero Broad Storage or Location Permissions: The app uses Android's native Storage Access Framework (SAF / OpenDocument) and system share intents (ACTION_SEND / ACTION_VIEW), accessing only the specific file you explicitly select to print.
• On-Demand Font Caching: When rendering Office documents that require fonts not built into the mobile OS, the app downloads standard font files over HTTPS into the app's local cache strictly for on-device text layout.

3. Network Access & Optional Remote Relay Gateway

• Local Network Direct Printing: Network permissions are used to discover printers on your local Wi-Fi/LAN via mDNS or subnet scan and transmit print jobs directly to TCP Port 9100 (RAW/PJL) or Port 631 (IPP).
• Optional Remote Cloud Print (6-Digit Pairing Code Relay): When printing remotely to a non-cloud network printer via our local relay gateway method (such as asking a family member or senior at home to temporarily open the HawkEye Print app on their phone as a gateway, or running our free PC/NAS/OpenWrt gateway plugin), encrypted raster chunks are transiently relayed in memory using your 6-digit pairing code and are never stored on any cloud server.

4. In-App Purchases & Billing

In-app purchases (such as the Pro Lifetime Unlock SKU pro_lifetime_unlock) are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We never collect, access, or store any credit card or payment details.

5. Data Retention, Deletion & Contact
